One of the things we usually do in this seminar is create blogs in order to share what is happening in the internship. I was debating whether to skip this component but then Ilana asked about keeping journals, so I thought it might be a really great idea to include the blogging element in the class this semester.
Normally, we start the blogs during the first class but since Benita could not bring in her computer, we can do this another way.
Why don't you all attempt to create a blog using Blogger, the service associated with gmail. I like this service best because you can not only use text but also include pictures and videos. Also, it's relatively easy to leave comments on people's blogs.
In order to start a blog, go to igoogle and on the top menu bar, pull down the heading that says More. Then select Blogger and follow the instructions. At left you can see a picture of my daughter and granddaughter. I thought you might like to see who I hang out with most of the time.
There's no deadline for starting the blog. Just try to start it when you can.
